The Kongs Take Back Their Island From the Snowmads
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a side-scrolling platformer in which the Snowmads, a band of arctic invaders, freeze DK Island and drive the Kongs out. Donkey Kong and his family have to travel across a chain of islands to reclaim their home.
Donkey Kong is joined by Diddy, Dixie and Cranky Kong, each with their own moves for reaching hidden areas. The Switch version adds Funky Mode, where Funky Kong can double jump, hover, roll without limit, spin underwater and shrug off spikes thanks to his surfboard, making the game more approachable.
Two players can team up for co-op on one console, and you can play on the TV, on a tabletop or in handheld mode.
