Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a remake of the Game Boy Advance puzzle-platformer, rebuilt with new visuals for Nintendo Switch. Donkey Kong has swiped a load of Mini-Mario toys, and Mario sets off to get them back.
Each stage is a compact puzzle: find the key, reach the door and work out how to use switches, springs and other gadgets to get there. The remake includes more than 130 levels across eight worlds, including brand-new ones, plus Time Attack challenges and arcade-style boss battles against DK. A Casual Style option gives extra help for players who want a relaxed pace.
A new local co-op mode lets two players team up on one system, with the second player controlling Toad. Play on the TV, in tabletop mode or in handheld mode.
