A New Era of Mortal Kombat Begins
Mortal Kombat 1 reboots the long-running fighting series. After becoming the new Fire God, Liu Kang has reshaped history, and familiar warriors return in reimagined forms with new backstories, rivalries and alliances in a cinematic story mode.
The fighting system introduces Kameo Fighters, a separate roster of assist characters who can jump in to extend combos, break attacks or pull off their own Fatalities. Brutal special moves, Fatal Blows and Fatalities remain at the heart of every match, and single-player content includes Towers and the board-game-style Invasions mode.
Fight a friend locally on one console or take the battle online. On Nintendo Switch you can play on the TV or take the fights with you in handheld mode.
