Explore the Open World of Paldea with Miraidon
Pokémon Violet sends you to the Paldea region as a new student at Uva Academy. It is the first core Pokémon game with a fully open world, so you can head in almost any direction from the start and take on challenges in the order you like. The legendary Pokémon Miraidon becomes your partner and your ride across land, water and sky.
Three main storylines run in parallel: battle Gym Leaders on the way to becoming Champion, track down giant Titan Pokémon, and confront the members of Team Star. The Terastal phenomenon makes Pokémon crystallise and can change their type mid-battle, opening up new strategies. Violet has its own version-exclusive Pokémon and features Professor Turo.
Through Union Circle, up to four players can explore Paldea together over local wireless or online, and you can trade and battle with friends, including players of Pokémon Scarlet.
