Sonic Breaks Free in a Vast Open Zone
Sonic Frontiers is Sonic's first open-zone adventure. After a mysterious incident, Sonic is stranded on the Starfall Islands and has to find the Chaos Emeralds while uncovering the secrets of an ancient civilization.
You can dash freely across huge islands full of rails, platforms and puzzles, and dive into Cyber Space portals for fast, linear stages in classic Sonic style. Combat is deeper than before, with dodges, parries, counters and combos that you unlock through a skill tree. The new Cyloop ability lets you draw a trail of light around enemies and objects. The island guardians include giant Titans that lead to large-scale boss fights.
This single-player adventure supports handheld, tabletop and TV modes. It also supports surround sound and Save Data Cloud with Nintendo Switch Online.
