Ink the Town in Nintendo's Colourful Team Shooter
Splatoon 3 moves the ink-slinging series to Splatsville, a sun-baked city in the Splatlands. You play as an Inkling or Octoling who can swap between humanoid form to shoot ink and squid form to swim through it, climb walls and slip past opponents.
Turf War remains the core mode: two teams of four race to cover the most ground in their colour. Salmon Run returns as a four-player co-op mode against waves of Salmonids, and a single-player story campaign, Return of the Mammalians, sends you through Alterna. Tableturf Battle, a card game you play in Splatsville, adds another way to spend time between matches.
Online modes need a Nintendo Switch Online membership, and up to eight systems can also connect over local wireless. You can take the game anywhere in handheld mode or play on the TV.
