A Classic Mario Role-Playing Adventure, Fully Rebuilt
Super Mario RPG is a full remake of the 1996 role-playing adventure, now with 3D visuals and a rearranged soundtrack. When the Smithy Gang crashes into the world and shatters the Star Road that grants wishes, Mario sets out to recover the missing Star Pieces with an unusual team that includes Mallow, Geno, Bowser and Princess Peach.
Battles are turn-based but reward good timing: press the button at the right moment to strengthen attacks or cut down damage. The remake adds team-up Triple Moves, an easier Breezy difficulty for those who want a gentler ride, and extra challenges after the story ends.
It is a single-player adventure that can be played on the TV, in tabletop mode or in handheld mode.
