The Origin of the Master Sword, Reborn in HD
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD returns to the earliest point in the series' timeline. Link grows up on Skyloft, an island floating above the clouds, until his childhood friend Zelda is swept to the unknown land below. His search for her reveals the origins of the Master Sword and the struggle that shapes the whole saga.
Travel between islands on your Loftwing, then descend to the surface to explore forests, volcanoes and deserts full of puzzles and dungeons. Combat is built around directional sword strikes, and the HD version smooths out the experience with higher-resolution visuals and quality-of-life improvements.
Play with motion controls using the Joy-Con, mirroring your sword and shield movements, or switch to a button-only control scheme that also works in handheld mode. The game supports TV, tabletop and handheld play.
