Reading-Grade Light with Ra95 Color Accuracy
The Xiaomi LED Desk Lamp 2 uses a 112-LED array to spread even, flicker-free light across a wide 60cm work area, avoiding the harsh single hotspot common on smaller desk lamps. Color rendering hits Ra95, high enough that colors on paper, fabric, or artwork look true rather than washed out or shifted, and adjustable color temperature runs from a warm 2700K up to a cooler 5100K depending on the task and time of day.
The lamp is TÜV Rheinland certified for eye comfort, with an RG0 blue-light exemption rating and no visible flicker at any brightness level, making it suited to long reading or study sessions. A dedicated Reading Mode locks in a 3900K color temperature at full brightness, tuned specifically for extended text-focused work, while touch-sensitive sliders let you fine-tune brightness and color temperature directly on the lamp body without digging through an app.
The lamp head sits on a shaft rated for 10,000 rotation cycles and adjusts through a 25° range, so it can be angled precisely toward a desk, keyboard, or reading material. Voice control through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant adds hands-free operation for anyone already running a smart home setup, and a delayed shutdown timer helps wind down a study or work session automatically.
