Product details
RTX 5070 Power, Forged for Battle
The MSI Katana 15 HX B14WGK-821XPL pairs a 16-core Intel Core i7-14650HX, boosting up to 5.2GHz, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and 8GB of GDDR7 memory. NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation push frame rates well beyond what raw rendering alone can deliver, while 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD keep loading times short.
The 15.6-inch FHD IPS-level display runs at 144Hz for smooth, responsive gameplay. Heat is handled by MSI Cooler Boost 5 with a shared-pipe design that links the CPU and GPU through five heat pipes and two fans, so performance holds up during long sessions. A 4-zone RGB keyboard with highlighted WASD keys and a Copilot key sets the gaming mood.
Connectivity covers USB-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1 and Gigabit Ethernet, plus Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. A 75Wh battery and 240W adapter power the black chassis. This model ships without an operating system.
