Saros is a standalone cinematic action game from Housemarque, the studio behind Returnal. You play as Arjun Devraj, a Soltari enforcer searching for answers on Carcosa, a strange alien planet warped by a mysterious force called the Eclipse. Every time you fall, the world shifts around you, rearranging its biomes, paths and secrets for your next attempt.
Combat is fast and projectile-heavy, built around reading enemy attack patterns and responding with parries, shields and dodges in intense bullet-hell style encounters and boss fights. Between runs you return to a hub to meet your crew, while unlocked weapons, abilities and upgrades carry forward so each attempt makes you stronger.
